Assessment: Overall, this patient appears to be doing well. Throughout the course of its exam, it appeared to be not using its right foot properly but it eventually began putting weight on it. It is uncertain if there is pathology related to this finding or if it is an incidental finding. The patient also appeared to have epiphora present in its left eye. This is also another finding that is uncertain if this is related to a pathological cause or another incidental finding.
Plan: We plan to continue providing nutritional support to this patient and continued monitoring to see if the weakness and epiphora that was seen on exam was an incidental finding or if further diagnostics are needed. Meloxicam will also be administered for pain relief and to limit inflammation.
Prognosis: Good
